In light of the ongoing situation resulting from COVID-19, the Vermont Theatre Company has decided to postpone this weekend's performances of Almost, Maine. Our goal is always to serve our community, and cancelling public events is one of the most important things we can do to minimize the spread of this disease. We are following the lead of state and federal officials, and joining with the wider tri-state theater community, as we implement strategies recommended by public health authorities and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

We will also be suspending all rehearsals and other private gatherings, to ensure no one in our community - patrons and participants alike - feel compelled to put themselves in situations with potentially negative impact on their health. We encourage everyone to take their own precautions to help minimize the transmission and mortality of the current pandemic.

It is our sincere hope that we can return Almost, Maine to the stage in the future, and that the rest of our season will continue as scheduled.
