Bios

Heather Herring (Quince) loves doing Shakespeare in the Park! Previous Park productions include Helena in Midsummer and Miranda in The Tempest with VTC; Jaquenetta in Love Labour's Lost and Luce in A Comedy of Errors with ACT.

Nick Morgan (Snout/Wall) coming off “world-wide” (okay, a small part of Southern VT) acclaim for his participation in Rock River Players hugely successful (and if he does say so himself, “VERY FUNNY”) role in the Rock River Players’ one-act Soap in May and its impressively amazing Improv Weekend in March. Nick is excited to continue his involvement with local community theater tonight, presenting the tinker “Snout” presenting “A Wall” in VTC’s Midsummer Night’s Dream, following up on his roles with Rock River Players as Cupid in last year’s One-Acts and the Chorus in Antigone. Nick hopes you enjoy some Shakespearean fantasy tonight and looks forward to keeping you entertained tonight and in the future.

Eden Gorst.JPG

Eden Gorst (Peaseblossom) is excited to be back for her third Shakespeare in the Park with VTC. Her past roles with the company include Cecily in Earnest!, Maria in Twelfth Night and Beatrice in Rappaccini's Daughter. Most recently she played an adventurous writer-turned-pirate in The Piratical Gentleman's Association, part of a series of one-acts with the Rock River Players. Offstage, Eden enjoys writing songs and poetry.

Marion Major.JPG

Marion Major (Titania) grew up with VTC's Shakespeare in the Park productions. As an adult she has appeared in park productions of Romeo and Juliet and As You Like It. A lifelong dancer, Marion is more often found on stage for dance productions. When not on stage, Marion works at a Brattleboro based nonprofit. She's so grateful to have this ridiculous and joyful play to focus on during this impossible time. A huge thank you to her husband for helping with lines and kiddos for cheering her on, always.

Rebecca 1.JPG

Rebekah F. Kersten (Hippolyta/Puck) has been a performer ever since she could talk, move, and sing, so she is thrilled to be back onstage with VTC and this marvelous cast at the park! For over twenty-five years, Rebekah has been a theatre artist in the contexts of educational, community, and professional theatre, practicing her craft through acting, design, stage management, and directing. Favorite VTC roles include Nora in A Doll's House and Rosaline in Love's Labor's Lost, and pretty much any part she’s ever played in a murder mystery. Professional technical credits include Production Stage Manager (PSM) at Vermont Stage Company in Burlington, Resident PSM at Lost Nation Theater in Montpelier, where she stage managed the world premiere of Stone, and Resident Costume Designer/Costume Shop Manager for the Peterborough Players, where she designed the world premiere of This Verse Business. Rebekah holds a B.A. in Theatre from UVM, a Master’s from New England College, and currently teaches English/theatre at BUHS, where she directs the fall play and musical. When not at school, Rebekah can be found spending time with her family at their home in West Chesterfield. Many thanks to James, Katherine, and Elizabeth for their support and patience. Much love to you all!

Daniel Greycloud-Jacob.JPG

Daniel Greycloud-Jacob (Francis Flute/Thisbe) taught high school English in NYC and in western Massachusetts.  In recent years, he has performed with The Greenfield Players, DIY Macbeth, and the Valley Players in roles such as Duncan, Leonato, Prince Escalus, Orsino, Banquo, and Oswald. He is very excited to be working with The Vermont Theatre Company for the first time.

Izabel Estrin.JPG

Izabel Estrin (Hermia) is thrilled to be playing Hermia in this Shakespeare in the Park production. It is a role they love, and have had a great time exploring and bringing to life. It is also their first production with VTC. Izabel is a recent graduate of NYU Tisch Drama where they studied the Meisner technique and appeared in productions such as Vinegar Tom and Romeo and Juliet. Izabel is an NEYT alum as well, and is deeply thankful for their time there. Izabel would also like to thank their dogs for providing emotional support after long rehearsals.

Ayla Cordell.jpg

Ayla Cordell (Helena) modeled this role entirely off her older sister's ‘08 masterclass middle-school performance—thanks, Aegean. Like Helena, Ayla has big feelings and she is so grateful to the 'cule for sharing their talent, guidance, and honey supply. She thanks Casey (man) and Walter Lee (cat) for being the sweetest and softest place to land. It's a good time to stay saucy and audacious.

Geof.JPG

Geof Dolman (Snug, the joiner and fairy) is delighted to be playing Snug, who, in turn, plays Lion in the play-within-a-play. This is more-or-less type casting. Less so, a Fairy, which he regards as his greatest acting challenge so far. He hopes it will make you smile, at least.

Krista Coughlin-Galbraith .JPG

Krista Coughlin-Galbraith (Philostrate) is so excited to be back in the park for another Shakespeare in the Park with VTC after 6 years. She's played many Shakespearean servants over the years, but she's excited to return to A Midsummer Night's Dream, which was her very first Shakespeare production in 2017 with VTC, where she also played Philostrate! She'd like to thank Adrienne for giving her a chance to find new ways to approach this very fun and versatile role; and especially her partner, Eli, for all the toddler watching while she went to rehearsal!

Cyndi Fave Headshot.jpg

Cyndi Cain Fitzgerald (Theseus) is a singer-songwriter, poet, playwright, and storyteller—but acting is her forever fling. She’s been performing with VTC since 2020, most recently in The Bacchae and Play in a Day. Offstage, she moonlights as Vice President and Development Director on the VTC board, where she fundraises with flair. Cyndi believes that making art is an act of resistance and resilience—and she’s proud to be part of a company where inclusion, community, and a little midsummer magic take center stage. Cyndi would like to thank the donors, patrons and production partners that help VTC create a world where the magic of theater is accessible to all!

Cyrus Smith.JPG

Cyrus Smith (Mote) prefers to work as a technician than an actor. He was part of every production (10) during his high-school years at BUHS. His senior year he directed a one act. He continues to pursue theater in college. Cyrus has assistant stage managed for Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, worked on sets for UVM, and did tech for UVM players. He loves stage management and fight choreography.

Rose Fave Headshot.jpg

Rose Watson (Starveling/Moon & Cobweb) has performed and done costumes/props and set design with the Rock River Players, The Actors Theater, and Vermont Theater Company. Most recently she has been in the One Acts with both RRP and VTC as well practicing her “hamming-it-up” skills with RRP’s new Improv Jams. She would especially like to appreciate Phoebe Wagner and Zarin Greenough, two of her fellow artists at the Harmony Art Collective, who helped with Lion’s outfit!

Anna Bowler (Movement Coach/Dance Choreographer) began dancing in New York at the Adirondack Repertory Dance Theater, where she trained in ballet and modern dance technique. She also studied at Brattleboro School of Dance (BSD) and Manhattanville University in Purchase, NY. She currently choreographs, performs, and produces shows with BSD. Outside of dancing, she owns a solar asset management business, has a masters in finance, and enjoys gardening, and riding her motorcycle.

Walter Cramer (Egeus) is pleased to be playing Egeus again after a long absence from performing Shakespeare.  Recently retired, Walt has appeared locally with the Rock River Players and Actors Theatre Playhouse.  Most of Walt’s theater experience has been in musicals at various theaters in CT and PA and in opera with Washington (DC) Opera and Austin (TX) Lyric Opera.  His favorite roles are King Arthur in Spamalot and Applegate in Damn Yankees.
